Sign in and spaces
Sign AI Workbench in to Mojo Up AI Cloud or your organisation, and keep each account apart in its own space.
AI Workbench works on its own with no account. Signing in connects it to a platform: Mojo Up AI Cloud (Free on your own, Teams with your teams) or your organisation's own platform (Enterprise). What you are signed in to decides your edition; it is never a setting you choose.
One workbench can hold several accounts at once as spaces: your Personal space, each Mojo Up AI Cloud team, each organisation and each team hub. Each space has its own projects, settings, sign-in and memory.
Which edition you are on
| You are signed in to | Edition |
|---|---|
| Nothing | Free: everything stays on this computer |
| Mojo Up AI Cloud, your personal space | Free |
| Mojo Up AI Cloud, one of your teams | Teams |
| A team hub on your own network | Teams |
| Your organisation's own platform | Enterprise |
Settings → Organisation shows the edition at the top, with one sentence saying what this workbench is signed in to.
Open Settings → Organisation.
Choose Sign in with Mojo Up
On the Mojo Up row, choose Sign in with Mojo Up. Mojo Up AI Cloud is free on your own or with your teams.
If you typed a work email and its domain has its own organisation, the workbench says so (for example "Contoso has its own platform") and offers Use Contoso. Choose that if you want your organisation's projects and policy, or carry on with Mojo Up for your own.
Approve the workbench in your browser
Choose Continue with Mojo Up. Your browser opens on Mojo Up AI Cloud with a code. Sign in with Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Facebook or a code emailed to you.
Check the organisation the page names, then approve the workbench. The workbench joins the organisation that is active in Cloud at that moment: your personal space, or one of your teams. To approve it into another one, switch to it at the top of the console's sidebar first.
Wait for the approval
The workbench shows the code, with Copy and Open the console, and Waiting for approval… until you approve. You can also approve the code from the mobile app; the workbench then joins the organisation active in the app. When it is done, the row says signed in and shows who you are signed in as.
If you approved into a team, the sign-in moves into that team's own space and the workbench opens there. Your Personal space keeps its projects.
What signing in brings
Once signed in, Settings → Organisation shows:
- Platform (or Tenant) and Device: where the workbench is signed in, and the id the console lists it under.
- Access: whether the sign-in is bound to this device.
- Remote control: whether the console can reach this workbench over the relay.
- Fleet: when the workbench registered and last checked in.
- Policy and templates: what your repositories applied from the platform.
- My projects: your projects on the platform, with Add to this workbench.
- Nodes: the nodes you can use, with Open.
The platform's policy and templates come down to the workbench; events and usage go up to it.
Sign out
Choose Sign out on the row with your organisation's name.
Spaces
The space switcher is at the right of the title bar, next to the project switcher. It shows the open space's name and, as a badge, how many unread items wait in your other spaces.
| Space | Edition | How you get one |
|---|---|---|
| Personal | Free | Always there. |
| A Mojo Up AI Cloud team | Teams | Sign in with Mojo Up and approve into a team, or Add a Mojo Up team. |
| An organisation | Enterprise | Sign in to your organisation's own platform, or Add your organisation. |
| A team hub | Teams | Add a team hub of your own. Nothing goes through Mojo Up. |
Each row in the switcher says its edition and what it is: "just you", "a team on Mojo Up AI Cloud", "your organisation" or "a team hub on your own network". A space that still needs you says so, for example "Waiting for you to sign in with Mojo Up".
Add a space
Open the switcher and choose one of:
- Add a Mojo Up team: sign in with Mojo Up and choose one of your teams.
- Add your organisation: sign in to your organisation's own platform.
- Add a team hub of your own: be the hub, or join one, over your own network. See Team hub.
The workbench makes the space, starts again in it, and opens the Settings page for its first step.
Switch space
Choose a space in the switcher. The workbench asks first, because it starts again in the other space and anything running in this one stops until you come back. Choose Open.
Only one space is open at a time. That keeps each account's sign-in, projects and agents apart: nothing from one space is visible to agents working in another.
A folder belongs to one space
A repository folder belongs to the space that first used it. If you add it to a project in another space, the workbench asks This folder is in another space and offers Move it to this space or Cancel. Moving it opens it here from now on; its memory, secrets and sign-ins stay with the space it came from, and that space stops opening it.
You cannot rename or remove a space from the switcher yet.
