MojoFlow

Updates

MojoFlow checks for a new version once a day, downloads it in the background, checks its signature and installs it in one click.

MojoFlow asks Mojo Up once a day whether a newer version exists. Nothing about you or your computer is sent with the question.

When one is found, MojoFlow downloads it in the background and checks it: on Windows, that the installer is whole and signed by Mojo Up; on Linux, that the download matches the SHA-256 digest Mojo Up published. Then it tells you, once per version: a notification, a teal dot on the tray icon, and Install update in the tray menu. Nothing installs until you say so.

Install an update

Choose Restart and update on the notification, the Overview page or About, or the update entry in the tray menu. MojoFlow closes, installs the new version and starts again in a few seconds. Your settings, dictionary and models stay.

Settings

Under About → Updates, all on by default:

SettingWhat it does
Check once a dayAsks the Mojo Up portal for the latest version.
Download updates in the backgroundFetches the new version as soon as it is found, so updating is one click.
Tell me when one is readyA notification once per version, and a teal dot on the tray icon until you update.

Check now checks straight away. If the check or the download fails, Try again, or Download manually to get the installer from the Mojo Up portal.

When an installer is refused

MojoFlow never runs an installer it cannot verify. A download cut short is fetched again by itself. If an installer is still refused, About says why in plain words: not a whole file, not signed, signed by someone else, or a certificate this computer does not trust. Download it again from the portal, or contact support if it keeps happening.

Releases that fix a security problem are marked Includes a security fix. What changed in each version is under About → What's new and in the release notes.
